Kermit the Frog is one of Jim Henson's Muppets, and without question, the most famous of them all. Introduced in 1955, he has lived though good times and bad times. The worst time that he can recall in his life was in May of 1980, when he cried for hours following the death of Jim Henson, his creator. However, he has overcome that tragic day, and still entertains to this date. He will play the guitar in the band, and says that "I think that because i'm green, and i'm a frog, people...well people look down on me, like I can't do it. However, the band gives me a change to prove them wrong. I'm definetly excited."
